Well, for starters all you have to do is learn how to effectively earn airline miles and points. It’s not rocket science, which makes it quick and easy to learn. By practicing what I am about to preach, I learned how to earn enough airline miles to travel and occasionally
sell miles to make some extra dough.
1. Set An Achievable Goal & Make A Plan

It’s very important to have an achievable goal when you’re first getting started with airline miles and points. One of the first questions you should ask yourself is, what do you want to do with the points and miles you’ve earned? You can set an objective like flying to Dubai (or anywhere else in the world) in business or first class, or a free stay at a hotel. It could be more basic like
selling airline miles to make extra cash on the side or taking your kids to Disneyland or Hawaii.
To make an achievable goal, you need to focus on three things that it needs to be which is, realistic, timely and specific. Also, before setting out to achieve your goal ask yourself where you’d like to travel, how you’d like to get there, and lastly when you would like to go.

2. Earn Miles Whenever You Fly
This is a no-brainer, but there are so many out there who don’t earn miles when the fly. Even your kids as young as three months old can earn miles, as long as you pay for their ticket. It’s worth remembering that earning miles when you fly is one of the things that you don’t have to pay anything extra for.
If you’re using another airline and you think earning miles from that flight isn’t important, well think again. A lot of airlines have partnerships with other airlines which allow frequent flyers to earn and spend miles when flying on either airline. The easiest way is knowing or researching the partners or the airlines in the same network. Not only will this make earning miles easier, but later you’ll have a wider option when you’re ready to spend your miles. Strategic planning is the way forward!

3. Find The Right Credit Card That Works For You

Finding the right credit card is very crucial when it comes to earning miles. Even though there isn’t a credit that is one size fits all, there different kinds created for different needs. I’d recommend starting out with the one that doesn’t have an annual fee. Also consider, what do you usually spend on and are you able to get the money back credit and save up for travel?
