My two children and I were seated in Economy, seats 41A, 41B, and 41C. At the beginning of the flight, the crew handed everyone a menu with meal choices, giving us the impression that we would be able to choose our meals. However, when they finally reached our row for dinner, we were told that all the other options had run out and that only the pasta was left. We had no choice but to accept a meal we didn’t want. The exact same thing happened at breakfast. Again, by the time the crew reached us, they said the only option left was the omelet. We don’t like omelets, but we were given no alternative. What’s the point of handing out a menu if passengers seated in the back never actually get a choice? This happened not once, but twice on the same flight. Running out of meal options before serving the entire cabin is poor planning and unacceptable customer service. Every passenger pays for their ticket and deserves the same level of service, regardless of where they are seated. This experience was frustrating, disappointing, and far below the standard I expected from Turkish Airlines.
